Obama is a career politician, he doesn’t care about the social/economic advancement of black people. The average rank and file negro is still enamored by this nikka’s charm and all the bullshyt symbolism.

So Obama advised them to leverage their position to get what they want...and people think that was a bad thing? Bron won. He got exactly what he wanted.
They wanted Bron to do some dumb shyt to lead the players off a cliff. These same folk who couldn't even be their high school treasurer better yet class president think they got all the answers on how to end systemic racism :mjlol: Bron won. He's done his part...these coli ignoramuses are only interested in options that involve black folk not voting thus moving backwards.

This season been an asterisk to me. If they refused to play for the rest I'd be like :manny:

At least this way they got the airwaves hostage because the advertisers would take a season prone to players peacing out than no season at all.

The plan of action is a different story. They need a platform and a set of demands that says, "if we don't get this, by this time, we out."

I was disappointed in Obeezy. Doesnt mean we disregard him as a man who tried and made some changes but based on the reports, his advice was Sad.

Also understand that what we want obama and michelle to be are not what they are. They want to write books, do speeches, and canoodle with establishment.

They are not in the streets with the protestors. While also Politikin behind the scenes with local government to change police unions laws, Push forth strong financial empowerment measures for minorities, etc.

They arent our bonnie and clyde for the new uprising.

The nba has serious revenue and viewership issues

the owners have the option of ripping up the cba and they will

Anyone with sense knows if they blew up the season then the league would tear up the CBA cause they would not get paid by the networks. Since there was no playoffs.

Second due to covid and the china situation the league has lost billions and billions. Which as the sista Michelle Roberts mentioned has been accounted for....but a blowing up the season meant that even more money would be lost and most likely would be no season the next year (CBA would be destroyed by the owners).

Ms Roberts also stated that even if this season is completed there was no guarantee that the owners wouldn't tear up the CBA.

Finally as I said before on here. It is amazing how regular folks online want these famous black folks to sacrifice everything while they clown asses sacrifice nothing.

Then he lectured a whole country of Black people during his trip to Africa about accepting faggity shyt. As if Black people don't have a right to their own customs and laws.

Barack Obama tells African states to abandon anti-gay discrimination

Just some perspective on malcolm. He like MLK adjusted his views the last few years of his life.

In early 1964 malcolm attended the civil rights counsel in DC with the senate. MLK was the lead voice there and he and other civil rights folks were debating with the senate the soon to be 1964 civil rights bill. Malcolm was there in support sitting in the corner of the meeting room.

This is where he finally met MLK ( they had never met before). Where he had the famous picture with MLK. Malcolm also supposedly apologized for what he had said previously about MLK.

This meeting as well as the march on washington led to the 1964 civil rights bill being passed.

Another point of reference is that the late john lewis was a chairman at SNCC during the 1963 march on Washington. He and others in SNCC had some scathing comments about the kennedy administration and wanted to let it be known during the march on washington speech in 1963. Those higher up in the movement told them we can't get some of these bills passed (1964 civil rights bill for example) if you criticizing those who we have to get to sign the bill.

John lewis hated that, but eventually bit his tongue and removed those comments out the speech for the betterment of the movement.

One last thing after the 1964 civil rights. counsel in DC. The next month Malcolm came out with the ballot or the bullet speech. In which he did state his issues with the democrats and republicans. But also mentioned at that time whites were divided and this was an opportunity for black folks to have a say in who would be a in the white house and push forward their agendas. He also mentioned that he was skeptical that the government would follow through on what they promised.

A lot of folks mix up the ballet or the bullet speech. But what malcolm was saying was a ballot is like a bullet. You don't use the bullet until you see your target.

Obama doesn’t like confrontation. That was evident in that very first debate with Romney. And him telling these guys to go back to playing is him feeling Extra special because the nba commissioner I think called him to help get these guys back to work.

I’m a Obama guy so I can’t hate on him too much. But not happy about his decision here.
