Nope.
I grew up in and have mostly lived in areas with mixed-income housing (diverse types of housing units, such as apartments, town homes, and/or single-family homes for a people with a range of income levels).

what is the point of this thread? folks still bragging about being from the ghetto and shyt in 2013? i don't see the point because there's plenty of lames come from the ghetto. don't see how that's supposed to make me respect someone or whatever.

How is factually stating where one grew up some how bragging? :what:

Growing up with my mom I damn near lived everywhere in Broward county. :lolbron: Off the top of my head I lived in Tamarac, Cooper City, Plantation and Miramar all in decen neighborhoods. The most ratchet one though was this place in Lauderhill. Cops were there every damn week.

I lived in Florida and 5-16 we never stayed in a house for more than two years maybe once. A pretty unstable childhood overall but she did manage to keep the hood culture out of us.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Fondren

A ghetto hood located in southwest Houston. Area is home to many good weed spots. Although the street named "Fondren" runs from Westheimer to Fort Bend County, only the part from Braes bayou to Missouri City is actualy considered the hood. The intersection of Fondren and West Belfort represents the heart of the area.

The apartments along West Belfort and West Airport between Gessner and Hilcroft are often considered a part of the Fondren area. The area is bracketed by Sharpstown to the north, Missouri City (Mo city) to the south and west, and Westbury to the east. Fondren is often considered a part of Westbury, since the area feeds into Westbury High School.

There is an above average population of Africans and Jamicans in the area. Caucasians are an extremely rare sight and are only seen getting the shyt beat out of them, having their vehicles stolen, and/or being forcefully sodomized.

I'm up the block, around the corner and down the street
From where the pimps, prostitutes and the drug lords meet

The Infamous World's End Houses
Nah, not really. I''ve lived in poor neighborhoods, middle class, even rich hoods. I've been all over the place. I live in public housing right now tho, but my area and block is not too bad. Its actually close to a rich part of London so if u walk down the street for like 15 minutes ull find urself in a whole different world. I never lived in public housing growing up tho, but I do now.

It takes a certain type of man to teach,
To be far from hood but to understand the streets
