First two pages got folks questioning his merit when he got hired but I bet they don't come around and say they were wrong. The players rock with him and they could've easily won 10 games this season if it wasn't for late game errors/execution issues.

The first few pages are embarrassing :mjlol:

There is nothing embarrassing about the 1st few pages. The overall posts were all correct. The Lions had a formality of an interview process for the guy they knew they wanted to hire. A story that has been repeated several times over the past few years with different organizations. Somehow, no one in the league ever speed runs a coaching search for a black candidate, much less an unconvential black candidate like this. EVER.

We've just seen the Texans hire 2 black coaches without any support just because the underqualified, unconvential white candidate they were trying to hire would have been a bad look during the time the Flores lawsuit hit the news cycle.

So, yeah. They had a decent season this year. That's cool.

Campbell or Mike Tomlin should be the only two people in the running for Coach of the Year.

Good to see others coming around on Campbell being the right man for the Detroit job.
