IT didnt to me.

And again, its a real story. The situation was tense because its real life.

Yeah man ignore that "get out" comparisons. It's just people who never seen the movie, trying to hate.

Movie is good af

This not no feel good white supremacist flick like get out. You don't leave the movie theater feeling empowered. You leave feeling sad because these cops killed these black people for no damn reason and they got away with it even though, they confessed about the crime. The movie just makes you think like they been getting away killing us since slavery days and they still get away killing us today.

Don't tell me they made this a horror film...:snoop:.

Second the story is about 3 black males being killed, 7 black males being beaten and 2 white females being beaten.

If the story is 90% about this incident there really isn't going to be much discussion on black women.

Some times kats be getting offended just to be offended.

A better discussion could be why make a movie on the detriot riots that focus on this incident that involves white folks as the victims.

They could have done a story that centered around the black folks in the bling pig club that was raided.

Its like the whole Mississippi Burning and how the onoy reason that story was told by hollywood was because two of the victims were white.

This is basically what the whole movie about and the riots plus the event leading to the riot. Don't believe that horror movie shyt, these are race soldiers trying to get you not to watch the film.

I left the movie enraged. I am still angry about it.

Me and my girlfriend usually talk about the movie afterwards, but we walked out and didn't talk about it much at all. We liked the movie, but it upset us.

They could have done a story that centered around the black folks in the blind pig club that was raided which basically started the riots.

Its like the whole Mississippi Burning and how the onoy reason that story was told by hollywood was because two of the victims were white.

That is actually how the movie begins, and the movie is nothing like Get Out. Whoever stated that obviously had to have had qualms about the movie before going into it. The comparison makes absolutely no sense.

DT review. They view it in a horror way like others have said. Glad the gay Korey gave Jacob Lattimore his props. And they saw it in alot of the ways I did.

What...The Great Migration? Is job opportunities the only reason they left the South?

On the race soldiers trying to get black people to not watch it...lets look closely to who develop this film:

Writers = white people
Screenwriter = Mark Boal aka white dude
Director = Kathryn Bigelow aka white woman
producers= White people
cinematographers = Whitw people

I have a free screening for this tonight, but of course I'm not going. :sas1:

It's way too far. All the free screenings lately have been to a theater that's so farI've never even been to that area.

Plus my dad wants to take me this weekend

Just look at the people who developed the film, nothing but white people from producers and writers

the inexplicable violence and rioting ( black people destroying they Community) without clearly explaining the reasoning it reach this point

Here's another review that touch on it:

Don't agree with all she said but I agree the biggest flaw was some of the dialogue didn't seem real to me and they put 2017 beliefs into 1967
