He's absolutely right. We have to stop making it easier for the system to feed on our talented youth. They're gunning for us anyway. If we allow our youth to be ignorant of how to avoid and navigate risky situations we can't be surprised when they end up food for the beast.

I do not think how a child is raised makes them impervious to systemic racism. I just think our community could do more to arm the youth with information to avoid traps set up for them. And also support them more once they're in the system.
