Lebron is more than a Pippen, Pippen has never sniffed 30 PPG:yeshrug:.. Pippen as #1 was getting bounced out by Ewing and Starks in the 2nd round:yeshrug:

He had Horace Grant as his #2 with BJ Armstrong and a young Toni, it wasn't a great team. They still won 55 games and Scottie was 3rd in MVP voting that year. He's not a bum.

Did I ever allude to him being a bum lmao? What was Ewing's supporting cast, was it that much better

and the following season the Bulls were floundering around .500 after 65 games before MJ returned and helped them secure the 5th seed. if MJ doesn't return, the Bulls probably end up with the 7th or 8th seed and play the Magic or Pacers in the first round. Scottie was looking at a first round exit.

Yeah just leave out the fact they got rid of all star Horace Grant maybe that’s why they were struggling :ohhh: maybe that’s part of why they lost in the 2nd round:ohhh:

Well Scottie was the 2nd best player in the league after Jordan, right? No excuses:troll:

Pippen isn’t a number 1, he’s a good robin to have

In his one full season as the #1 he led the Bulls to 55 wins (which was only a 2 win reduction from the 57 they won with Jordan in '93). Pippen was also a leading MVP candidate that led the Bulls in every statistical category.

Pippen just had the mindset of a #2 but skill set was that of a #1. When forced to become the man, he was as good as anybody in the history of the game.

Lmaooooooooo this might be the worst post of the year

Pippen was more in his prime than Jordan during that 2nd 3-peat. He brought more in terms of defense and playmaking than Jordan did. Even Phil Jackson said Pippen was the most valuable player on the team during that stretch.

2nd 3-peat Pippen was a sight to behold. As good as any perimeter player in NBA history when it comes to both sides of the floor.

:russ::russ::russ::russ: You got it big bro

Go watch the tape. Pippen was more athletic than Jordan during that stretch. He dominated the game defensively way more than Jordan. He was also the primary playmaker for the Bulls offense. Phil Jackson said many times during that stretch that Pippen was the team's most valuable player.

You lil kids don't remember this era. All you know is the brainwashing that has happened by the media since Jordan retired. They've essentially turned that Bulls run into the Michael Jordan show when in reality during the 2nd 3-peat Pippen and Jordan were most like Shaq and Kobe than a Batman/Robin type duo. Pippen dominated the games with his defense and playmaking. Jordan dominated with his scoring. It was a beautiful combination of which Pippen was arguably more impactful.

Go to any gm in history and give them an option about building around pip or bron.

:russ::russ: I know u nikkas dont actually believe the shyt you saying so imma let yall cook

Maybe if the gym is filled with cats who are under 30. But if you got a gym full of nikkas who were watching the NBA from 1993-1998 then it would be a lively debate.

Only dudes who never saw Scottie Pippen play in his prime would think he doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breathe as LeBron.
