What argument? There was no argument? Only one DC stan brought that up and he kept bringing it up multiple times. Even himself saying “....they ignore my post...” while still bringing it up letting it be known he wants all that smoke. And that’s was after the stan with the most post co-signed him.

Once you strip away the Spider-Man in the MCU / Sony-verse backdrop and look at it as a strictly business perspective, you’d see clearly Disney was bullying with that offer they initially put forth.

A later report said negotiations started out at a 70/30 split, that's more than reasonable considering it would lend Sony TV rights for spider-verse stuff.

And speaking of that...they dropping a kiddie Spider-man TV show, what's stopping them from going the what-if route and doing their own animated iteration of Spider-man or even live action for that matter.

Disney is bout to get real petty with spiderman stuff, this could affect the games and everything besides whatever trash Sony are about to put together.

, in all honesty though I could see Sony fast tracking Tom Holland into Venom 2 which is going to require them to come up with some obscure BS reason to cross them over with very little time (unless they planned to do this all along).
