Holland seems to be taking it pretty well, knowing hes gonna have to continue making trash movies for that trash ass film studio
Poor guy it's like his career is over or something

I'm sayin tho how does any of this affect the video games? I mean if somebody got some knowledge on that go head and drop it. I think Sony can do whatever they want with the games.
If Sony does a reboot they need to get the writers for Spider-Man on PS4. That game was one of the best representations of Spider-Man in media ever!
How is it going to affect the games?
Was Into the Spiderverse 'trash'?
It doesn't affect the games at all that's the point, Sony just bought the studio that made the game
Look at these goofies trying to change history, leave it to them Spiderman 1 & 2 don't exist, the 2018 game is trash and into the Spiderverse is pure luck
Why do people keep bringing that up though? Spiderverse is dope, very dope. Just like a lot of the animated DC content is really dope. That has not stopped them from botching their live action films, the quality and feel don't often translate very well across mediums in any scenario really, so you really can't include that when trying to gauge why a portion of fans have 0 faith in Sony after they have killed two live action Spiderman franchises and already setting the tone for mediocrity with their Venom-verse.
As for the games, Sony only has the rights to live action films, I don't even think they can do a Spiderverse sequel without Marvel signing off on it, they damn sure can't roll out their TV line up and seeing how Marvel is just about to release a legit game, one that it was rumored that they wanted to cross over with the Spider-man game, they could switch shyt up on that front too.
As for the games, Marvel is the gatekeeper for all things Spider-man besides live action films, that means whatever Spider-verse TV stuff Sony was doing is dead in the water and with Marvel finally releasing a legit game...one that they were already saying would potentially tie-in/cross over with Spider-man's, they could decide to do
Insomniac makes the games but the all Spider-man IP outside of the films belong to Marvel.
They exist and S2 is one of my favorite comic book movies, same way Michael Keaton's Batman is. Them being the best you got from those characters up til that point doesn't stop them from being antiquated and corny.
Game is awesome, Spiderverse is awesome and neither have anything to do with Sony's track record with live action Spider-man movies. The same person and same mind-set that crashed the original trilogy is heading up the Venom verse, why people are expecting fans to trust what comes next considering the circumstances is beyond me.
Sony controls the LIVE ACTION TV IP of SPIDER-MAN. Which Lord & miller are going to create a Universe out of. I'm sure they'll making bank off that.
If Sony kills off Holland's iteration in the next 1 or 2 movies, you'd have to respect their gangsta.

Insomniac did the game, Sony owns Insomniac. Marvel could license out Spider-Man to another developer but if they want to cont. working with Insomniac then they will have to work with Sony.
Andrew Garfield Amazing Spiderman highest box office was the first @ approx. $760 million ASM 3 only did $709 million. Venom had the benefit of being the first Venom movie. If you don't make a good movie the returns on sequels decrease not increase. They can probably get a Billy sticking them in the same movie. But if the movie isn't generally considered good they could hurt 2 characters instead of one. Shyt could go left for the Sony Spiderman IP real quick.
What cats don't get is that if a deal doesn't get done, worst case scenario is Sony going back to getting the revenue they were getting before which would have been the same as a 25/30% split with Disney. Why do that when there's only upside in profit? A shallow, yet very entertaining Venom, did over 850 mill without having to give Mickey a cut. Spidey would MINIMUM match that without having to give Disney shyt.
Them nikkaz would only get 15/20 percent tops. This the kinda gmove Disney should have pulled with Fox if they still owned the rights to F4 and Xmen.

20% profit share, more access to Spider-man characters and let Feige over-see integration between two movie franchises so that Venom doesn't suck (because it fukking sucks), let Blade cross over with Morbius, let Spiderverse TV rock, everybody wins.
they need to get off the Ironman titty too. shyt is disgusting.
Venom sucks is an opinion though. Facts and money said otherwise.
