EVERYBODY new CW had spidey in the story and people wanted to see it so they agreed..
their take was let Disney/Marvel develop the story . If he flops we blame Disney, if he reboots successfully we just continue and roll on. they dont need Disney now.. we gonna see the movie regardless... its like this.
Disney stayed we watched SM FFH3 to see the story continued

I heard Spiderman has a 6 picture deal with Marvel. Broken down into 2 trilogies
1. Spiderman and the college years
2 Spiderman and his amazing friends Iceman and Firestar
Also, VENOM IS COMING TO THE MCU
