Define "shambles". All of their movies coming out of late have been big box office successes.
After decades of waiting, Marvel has finally gotten ahold of the X-men again... So in 2021, for the first time EVER....That sounds like a series of porn parodies
Let me define it...... 2012 Dark Knight Rises makes a billy... Nolan says he's done with the trilogy before it even drops... You know what's coming......Define "shambles". All of their movies coming out of late have been big box office successes.
You keep talking profits... Based on comp they are losing bad... Based on you comparing flagship icons to c list bums is losing bad... The fact they only have 3 characters on deck, 1 being a bum who can't crack 450, is losing bad... The fact you mentioning Shazaam budgety when Venom did 900 million off the same shyt is losing bad.... The fact you talking batman and that batman and superman don't even exist in this DCU is losing bad... The fact that you talking about the past, when BvS was less than THREE years ago makes my entire case...tl, dr.
I'm not going way back to Nolan, fukk is wrong with you. Why not go back to Burton while we're at it?
Shazam had a small budget so near $400M actually means it's going to be very profitable.
Wonder Woman did over $800M and that budget was also modest. Very profitable.
Batman vs. Superman did about $875M, again it ended up being very profitable. I like how people say that didn't do enough but Spider-Man and Iron Man did a movie together, the top two Marvel characters and guess what? It did the same exact amount
and then people bring up Captain Marvel as a lame character that did $1.1 billion, it road the coattails of End Game, okay cool.
Aquaman was a joke character for decades and it did well over a billion, In fact it did more than Captain Marvel.
Then people wanna talk about Suicide Squad, again that ended up being one of the more profitable movies of that year.
‘Suicide Squad’ Box Office Profits 2016: DC Launch Tops ‘Doctor Strange’ – Deadline
in regards to Batman vs Superman
The bottom line was that Warner Bros made a net profit of $105.7 million, and a respectable Cash on Cash Return of 1.18 - Deadline
Don't quote me about the movie business, it never works out well for you
Yea you winning the same way DC is winning...So now that I showed you how you are wrong, @The Devil's Advocate maybe you can stop with the stan war bullshyt and return back to this topic
I don't get into the stan shyt around here, it seems like some nerves got touched and now we trying to deflect. No, lets stay on topic...
disney going to trade hulu forr spiderman lol.
hulk asking what about me lol?
BUT.... me and homie was talking about TRANSFORMERS... I used DC as an example and here you come, asking for answers.. So I answered. As I said many times before.. Only thing I care about is ALL THE UNIVERSES BEING COMPLETE.. I want all DC with DC and all Marvel with Marvel... And cohesion through all movies.... And this Sony shyt is fukking it up so fukk them.. It's not about Marvel. It's about ME
Ok you are obviously dumb.... Lets try againIs profits something that doesn't make sense to you? What other metric would you like to use? lol..I didn't "ask for answers" .... I already knew the "answers", I asked you to explain where this dumb logic originated from
Everything I posted was facts.
See, you lost the Spider-Man argument so now you tried a different argument and you lost on that too. At least go back and try Spider-Man again, at least that's what the thread is about
If you didn't "stan these studios..." then why you in here stanning like you own stock in these corporations. That's what I'll never understand about the handful of posters in here especially the ones sucking off Disney. You aren't a Disney executive. They ain't payin you shyt... stop the stannery and come back to the real world.
