I do a lot of function fitness like CrossFit style workouts and running.

Google Phil Daru and watch his videos.

Also if you're going to run I highly recommend you get running shoes that fit that is particularly made for your foot arch.

Like the homie @Black Mamba said running works. You don't gonna run fast miles or super intense stuff. I do 4 to 8 miles a week. Treadmill or Streets.

A whole bunch of people are prescribing how to lose weight when that's not his problem.

OP said he couldn't follow through, that's a commitment issue.

When his "why" is strong enough and when his desire for it is strong enough he will lose the weight.

@MarciknoW what you have to have is a made-up mind, and it's clear you don't have that yet. No judgment because for the longest, I didn't have a made up mind either.

But here's what helped me. I forced myself to work out. I'm not going to say I didn't try to fall off a couple times cause I did. I started forcing myself, and still found an excuse to skip working out for a week and a half. But it stayed on my mind and then I had to force myself to get back to it.

Eventually after so many "false try's" and instances of forcing myself, my mind became made-up and I was able to throw myself into it mind, body and soul. I have a love for it now. I created the love for it in my mind. Now I'm over here jonesing if I haven't worked out for the day. I start getting antsy and I want to work out.

So just keep pushing yourself. I know it sounds generic, but what you're actually trying to do is get your mind in shape, and that happens before you can make a commitment to getting your body in shape. You're trying to train your mind first. So here's what I want you to do after reading this.

Go work out. Do it now. If you're home, do some workouts. If you're close to the gym, go to the gym. But regardless, just go do something now.

Weight loss isn’t about working out though. It’s all about controlling caloric intake. More important is to get a calorie tracking app and log every single thing you eat.

You can never step foot in a gym and drop weight but on the other end you can be in the gym daily working out and gain weight if you eat like shyt.

The focus on working out comes from Coca-Cola who wants to sell you liquid calories then tell you to burn it off with exercise.

Burning off a bad diet is so inefficient it shouldn’t even be thought of. People get deceived exercising and slow their progress or completely stall out.

When I was doing intermittent fasting/OMAD some of brehs told me that wudnt work..but in actuality during that process I was lowering my portions and watching what I ate and I lost 12 lbs like it was nothing…i get why the brehs are saying exercise for health reasons but exercising doesn’t make me feel as good as I feel when I was losing that weight and dieting…I find that during my fasting periods my thoughts get quiet and I can concentrate more better and I get light on my feet
