Technically no. CBS owns half of the CW and the Flash showed up near the end of season one of Supergirl while it was still on CBS.

It's more of an honest approach and want it to be success first. Then, incorporated it into the verse.

So we've had an alien threat and now a trans-dimensional threat.

For next year, I think it's time to do a magical threat. The Arrowverse has dabbled in the magic realm of DC, but hasn't gotten too crazy. It would be a good chance to see the heroes taken out of their element, since most of them deal in science. Plus, you could bring back Constantine and some other magic heroes like Zatanna and Deadman.

Firestorm(s) was probably the best acted scene in the whole crossover.

Flash vs RF = major let down. He let a major villain, who literally ruined his entire life on several Earths, walk away.

Dumb Nazi's with guns literally walk up to metahumans...
