I used to think they just meant when someone is jamaican, they have characteristics that were unique to Jamaicans, but now I'm starting to see a lot use it to mean the person is special because they have Jamaican BLOOD. I have seen people claim others as Jamaican, and the person has no connection to Jamaica besides eating some of the food, and having a parent being Jamaican. In some cases the person doesn't even know the parent, and they would still claim he/she is Jamaican. Latins do the same shyt. I heard Fabolos, and Az are dominican, but I heard them say they weren't raised by them, that's why the don't rep it, but people think they still should!Since when did Jamaica claim Biggie? Is being Jamaican a "Race" now? Last time I checked, he was a black man born and raised in the United States. I'm pretty sure his death certificate says African American Man, not Jamaican Man.
I see it as a form of white supremacy without being white. They think just having someone being a certain group, makes the child special somehow.
