People are too complacent with open racism now. No pressure on them, and making excuses on violating LAWS on some bullshyt. Im talking to the so called black posters that allow this.
The complacency is a problem but so is the lack of cohesiveness. The problem is addressing those who get combative with their own before they confront racists or racial boundary steppers with the same energy. Silence and inactivity says a whole lot. This is not a new issue that racism exists in the workplace but there are some in the community who have no problem with engaging themselves with the enemy or carrying out racist ideologies and practices to the detriment of their own, in and out of the workplace. It's no so much allowing this - it's accountability and taking preventative measures to deal with those who are the real culprits i.e. racists.
The idea overall, across all areas -work, life, activism - seems to be to wear people down enough emotionally, physically to where acceptance or defeatism is the common response. If people don't come together to have a common sense of purpose, everyone is going in all different directions - confusion and chaos, with no collective mentality.
