Not as white as it used to be but yeah. It's adjacent to Port Arthur, TX.
Kid has played on an island all year and been dominant. I think he only person that had any success against him was Johntay and even that was marginal. Kid should be a 5 star.

Where does these SOC ranked against the 1988 Carter or 2001 Houston Madison.
The other urban inner-city Texas schools to win state.
That 2001 Houston Madison team had Vince Young.
Legacy? SOC is Untouchable
Talent? My late 80s/early 90s Roosevelt Mustangs has damn near NFL HOF talent but kept losing in the semifinals

Comparing Texas to Cali is like apples and oranges. An elite Texas high school "might" recruit a couple of kids...but 98% of the roster is just brehs from the neighborhood. You get whatever the hood produces. The elite coastal schools and private schools just pick players like it's college football....not really a comparison.
It would be like if USC could recruit the whole country for college football but Ohio State could only recruit kids living in a 5 mile radius of the campus.
If Duncanville, DeSoto, SOC etc. could join up and combine the best players and coaches...that's basically what these all star squads are in other states.

Did Kevin Williams on the Cowboys go there..or Lincoln Coleman? I know we had some DISD brehs on the Cowboys in the 90s.
