Yo I've kinda been sleeping on early Brian DePalma. :ohhh:
Never been a huge fan of his shyt. Even things like Scarface and Carlito's Way are overrated IMO.

But I did a lil double bill of two of his earlier films

Sisters and Dressed to Kill

Both of these were crazy. The Hitchcock influence is very strong in both. Dressed to Kill is completely fukkery :mindblown::deadmanny:. Like if Hitchcock made a soft core porn movie. I loved it. I like how De Palma is good at combining high art with low art.

I watched Dressed to Kill based on your recommendation. I don't usually watch old shyt but this was a great fukken movie. They could almost make a remake of it. That shot of ol'girl in the art museum, walking around, how suspenseful.

I might check out Sisters too. :obama:





I watched this movie on Netflix the other day, The Best Offer, it is not for everybody since it builts up slow.
