Loved this upon rewatch. It’s one of the bleakest westerns out there and you’re going to feel dirty while watching it. The cinematography was fire for it being filmed in the Australian outback, especially those shots during sunset.

Watched this last night on Disney+. I liked some of the aspects they did with the videogame concept and NPC's. The rest of the stuff less so.

Don’t think anyone is rejecting a ride home from 2013 Scarlett Johansson and it’s massive cap if they say otherwise. This was so slept on. Seriously, I can see people falling asleep to this but I liked how much of an out of body experience this felt like. One of those films I have to watch at night in order to fully take in the atmosphere.

Been 10 years since the last film Glazer directed. Supposedly his next entry drops this year. Can’t wait.

Still prefer the original cut for the more entertaining watch. Redux was more of a complex watch that dove deep into the mental exhaustion and I liked that, but that damn French Plantation scene drags.

Took me forever to get the subs right. I don't know how the hell I'ma enjoy whatever I watch after this.

What if Charlton Heston looked up at the destroyed Lady Liberty and just said, "Hey, cool! They got one of these on this planet too." and just kept riding? I don't think the ending would have the same effect.

You'd think a movie about a nazi and his concentration camp captive having a sadomasochistic relationship and rekindling that relationship after the war would be far more interesting than this. This movie was boring as fukk.

This movie started off strong, but then it kinda fumbled the bag in the second half. Good tension though. Makes me want to read the novel.
