Have you watched the version by Tarkovsky? I enjoyed that one way more but I know a lot of folks can’t tolerate how slow it is. That atmosphere is just :ohlawd: and the aesthetics were a clear influence on Lucas and Star Wars.

Severance on Apple TV is great, it's making an early running for one of the best shows out right now (and I meant that literally, not how brehs in here apply that label to shows like Power).

Loved this upon rewatch. It’s one of the bleakest westerns out there and you’re going to feel dirty while watching it. The cinematography was fire for it being filmed in the Australian outback, especially those shots during sunset.

Great flick. Didn’t resonate with the main lead, honestly thought she was very unguided and narcissistic, but I did like how it depicted the complexity of relationships.

Mid-70s Pacino could leap into the sun and not be burnt. The way he’s able to blur the lines between chaotic and complex to innocent and deeply human was crazy. The roars of the crowd as he shouted “Attica!” :wow:

It’s also dope how this managed to have zero background music all throughout and still managed to carry its weight through the cast. Who’s doing that today in a heist film?

R.I.P. to Cazale. Gone way too soon and yet the man still had a great run of films before his passing.
