Good movie but the commentary on welfare brings it over the edge for me. Rather sad how welfare backing poverty-stricken black folks into a corner and the stereotypes that come with it are still relevant to this day.

Taiwan low-key has a fire ass film scene, in particular when it comes to family dramas. Old and new family drama boils to the surface in the lives of a family matriarch, her three daughters and her granddaughter after the death of her estranged husband, who abandoned the family years ago. Despite some incredibly heavy subject matter the film manages to create a completely cerebral tone where you actually feel yourself lifted up by its approach and handling. The characters are also played to perfection as the drama shifts between them but always keeping the others in the background to quietly react and respond to everything happening.

Been on a big Tex Avery kick and friggin. Despite some of the type of cartoons dude put out, dude was apart of my childhood when Cartoon Network was actually worth watching

solid documentary. not sanitized. doesnt really try to say anything, which can be a huge flaw if that is what you are looking for, but experientially it comes across as very "real", which for some audiences may be more important.

Maybe because I have to focus so much on reading the subs but I shed a little thug tear in the finale.

I've read it's very big in Spain so a S4 and S5 is all but guaranteed, I'm just not sure if I want it to keep watching with a 1/3 of the cast gone and the Marina story wrapped up

I know nothing about video games or what this is based off but it’s entertaining asf. 10/10 for action movies.
