Everything you said flies in the face of research on children who are raised in single parent households :gucci:

the research says raising a healthy and emotionally balanced child "you can reach only in a healthy relationship"? these are your words, i asked you to prove it. i named two prominent individuals that didn't have that and i'm pretty sure you know some personally whether you want to deny it for the sake of "winning" this topic.
and i would bet the large amount of those single parent households had a hard time supporting themselves even before they had the kid which goes to what ciara is saying.... love yourself, take care of your shyt whether you are in a relationship or not. it's not rocket science.

No disrespect but I'm surprised you don't see the contradiction in your statement. That is no different than some 90s and early 2000s rappers who song knucklehead shyt and once in a while come out with a Lord forgive me type song. Which message do you think had more influence. I don't have a problem with Beyonce personally. Still, she promotes a culture for women that actually works against them. And she was raised in a two parent household with a father that had the resources to push her career. She wasn't struggling women having to find independence to survive.
Bingo
but I think it's important to emphasize the power of media and how it molded minds against their own best interest.
Beyonce was used as a vessel for their agenda

These women don't really want to be married, that independent shyt is just hard as fukk in this late capitalism era. The big myth is that there is some place you have to get to as a black man to be worthy of respect and marriage. You can own the factory, be the greatest guy in the world and still not be respected and worthy because society does not deem black men as being worthy of respect. Have to deal with ALL women on a very careful individual to individual basis. That whole we have to step up for our queens shyt will get you killed figuratively or even literally, wise up.

I was just about to say this is another Beyoncé dropping single ladies while being married moment.
Beyoncé still has mystique around her. She doesn’t do alot of interviews and talk about her life from what I’ve seen as a casual.

What’s not being talked about enough is that the OP is filled with tweets from grown ass women that are admitting that entertainment has a chokehold on their real life decisions.
It’s a song…either you like it or you don’t.
The fukk are you taking Ciara’s music to heart for?!:dahell:

“I don’t wanna be independent, I wanna live life like you.:mjcry:
Maybe that’s why life didn’t pan out that way for you, you simple minded bytch.:beli:
Bout to put my tinfoil dunce cap on and point out the fact when u only keep the letters these words have in common u end up with lie lie lie :ohhh:
Am I on Twitter or am I on thecoli right now?

Let’s not sit here and play stupid like this thread isn’t being used a justification for an argument that’s been on this forum for over a decade.

Ole cac ass “im not saying it this, this black guy said it!” Ass argument

There you go throwing shyt off on women again. Stand on your own sentiments like a man.
How u know what’s been going on here over a decade when u got here in 2015? :dwillhuh:

if you had a daughter/sister etc would you want her to "need" a man? let's talk about it lol
Yes I do. I want them to need the men in their life and I want the men in their life to be needed and understand their role. Yes we do have gender roles in my household. I know everyone isn’t like that but like minded people.
