That made no sense. "The Avengers 2" is a direct sequel to the first movie. "The Dark Knight" was the middle movie of a reboot trilogy that came out 20+ years after the one with Nicholson and Keaton.
If you don't mind them replacing actors ok cool but why even make sequels or spend years trying to build a cohesive universe if you're just going to constantly rotate the actors out over pay disputes? Where do we draw the line with this shyt? After the 5th Bruce Banner? After certain characters magically disappear because they can't find a suitable actor to play them?

Marvel wouldn't even be the first ones to do that shyt. The James Bond films switch out certain actors while keeping others in place. The Harry Potter films did that shyt also. Most people either don't notice, or point it out once then move on.
They have shots of Tony's face constantly inside he suit. Is that not enough? Same shyt happened in the Spider-Man movies. Why the fukk is the mask continuously coming off? I'm not asking for a full iron man movie of him fukking shyt up in the suit. I just don't want to see someone's mask get knocked off every fukking fight scene. I mean I think they even did it with Cap in Avengers. And he doesn't even wear a full mask. It's stupid. There are enough shots of them outside of the costume, suit, whatever. We know who is in the suit.
Yeah because they didn't replace ANY actors in Chris Nolan's batman series....
Did they replace the main characters? I recall Batman being the same guy.

I could have sworn they said they weren't making another Hulk film because they felt the character works better (on film at least) playing off other super powered characters.

OH so the female lead in both of those films wasn't a main character?
On the scale of Batman? Nope! I dont even remember that chicks name, but when you watch the Avengers you kinda remember Thor and Captain America. Especially when each have 2 feature films of their own!
I feel you but I'm just letting you know it ain't gonna happen. Marvel has addressed this specifically when discussing making another Hulk movie.

They could have replaced him and people wouldn't have minded either.
Like I said there are a litany of examples where that shyt has happened and audiences have gotten over that shyt quick.
The funny thing is I remember people crying like bytches a bout Edward Norton not returning as the Hulk in Avengers. I also remember people shytting on Mark Ruffalo just off some cheesy promo image....The movie came out and what happened? People said the Hulk was one of their favorite things about the movie.
Actors are replaceable, especially when they're just playing already established characters. The producers, directors, and screen writers are FAR more important to these huge films.
harry potter replaced one actor,because the original actor died. hardly the same situation.
