This is probably state sanctioned secretly and helps dehumanize Africans in the eyes of Chinese when the government decides to get more agreesive in Africa. People are less likely to speak out against black oppression in that case.
One breh in here talking about tribal conflict when that is exactly what Europeans used to keep these countries from forming national identities and rising as one and will no doubt will be used by Chinese. Rwanda had the right idea to squash all that tribal shyt after the genocide and focused on building a single Rwandan identity. Minimizes internal conflicts of course but is also protective against outsiders.

Rwandan propaganda has you fooled. Rwanda is firmly under Tutsi control (with a few Hutu lackeys) and the Hutu population knows it.
It’s the reverse of Burundi which is under Hutu control with a few Tutsi lackeys.

They're pre selected by foreign governments and big business. It's the same as the British Raj style of colonial rule. Install a 'local' who serves your interests to give the illusion of independence when in reality they obey you.
They did the same thing with the shah of Iran. They pick people who don't give a shyt about anything other than their personal bank accounts to run these countries. They have no national pride or sense of loyalty, especially since they may see themselves as part of one ethnic group first and a citizen of a country second.
