Black people speaking directly against their own best interest for a bag or for ego is nothing new
Tale old as time.

DEI initiatives came about to train corporations on unconscious biases when it comes to white folks hiring practices. The fact that we got house nikkas defending white people attacking such initiatives is crazy.

Actually listened to all of it and he's not wrong, but

1. He's backing up that DEI doesn't work at the same time that right wingers are attacking it
2. He doesn't offer any alternatives and straight up says he doesn't know what we need besides "more black leaders." How? When all these companies are all white at the top?
That has been the crux of the criticism aimed towards him these last few years. As he's gotten more successful and shifted from pop culture to political commentary and they've putting him front and center as the black communities voice on issues. Rather right or wrong your words carry a bit more weight. He likes to criticize particular issues but never has any plans to change it. Then when pressed on his stance he deflects that he's just a radio guy so his opinion doesn't matter.

DEI programs at HBCUs are all geared towards guys and international students...case in point, look at Howard's DEI...gays are the first mention and scroll you see then international immigrants Diversity & Inclusion | Howard University Student Affairs
I was talking about corporate outreach on HBCU campuses. A Black school isn't going to do diversity programs for the majority.
DEIs should be for black people only :yeshrug:
You market it that way, and it will be struck down by courts. Guaranteed.

Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Act
So your argument is that the EEO... Which originated out of several elements of Civil Rights legislation has had a net negative impact on black men in the workplace since the 1970s when it was passed. Do I have you correct?

It is garbage and perpetuates the continued narrative that black people cant achieve anything without and hand out and devalues everyone who does have that position.

But that don’t matter people lack any nuance these days so do what you want :yeshrug:

I know plenty of DEI consultants looking for jobs these days cause after Floyd those white companies dropped the act and got back to business as usual. Begging won’t save us only our own intellectual development and growth :unimpressed:
