You gotta watch your sodium.

This is what you wanna snack on. They are pretty thick cut no homo so they got that crunch, but they are spicy. Wayyyy better than chips. I be a munching motherfukker but theses are so spicy, that I only eat about 10 slices while drinking water and I'm good. I'm satiated. Makes the top of my head sweat, raises the body temp.

The thing about spice or spicy food is its a thermogenic. It raises your body temp and burns calories. Cayenne pepper, jalapeños, Sriracha...anything that gets you going.

These spicy foods or peppers also help to keep you satiated and are supplement for caffeine. They sell over the counter cayenne pills to boost metabolism, reduce hunger and assist people who want to not drink caffeine or coffee.

I wouldn't take cayenne pills but I eat spicy pickles whenever I feel like I want a boost or wand to push my meal to make me feel more satiated or when I start craving chips or some shyt.

Also @WOLF2007 how much oatmeal do you eat per day? I'll eat 1 cup oats with 1 cup milk (makes it thick) with some raisins, cranberries, blueberries, (fiber, anti inflammatory, anti oxidant and immune) and I can easily go 4-5 hours without even thinking about food.

stop making your shyt as sweet....simple.

cream isn't too much of an issue minus the heavy cals, so it depends on what diet principle you're going with. lots of low carb diets would encourage cream or coconut oil since the fat keeps you full.

if you're worried about calories, lots of non dairy milk creamers out there with low cals - 15-30 cals per tbsp (califa and milkadamia are my faves, trader joes also has a good coconut milk creamer) and less than 3g sugar per serving.

if you must have it sweet, use splenda (not an advocate of fake sweeteners, but used in moderation - which is easy since it's much sweeter than sugar - it could be a good bridge for you since it doesn't spike insulin) or erythritol (or any other sugar alcohol that isn't maltitol)

snacking is a another subjective thing - yes, potato chips aren't the healthiest, but the bigger issue is most people get the $1.50 bag and eat the whole thing as a snack...that's usually 3-4 servings, learn the serving size and use it and you can usually keep snacks as part of your diet. i say usually, because a donut is a snack also, but that's easily 200-500 cals per donut, you can't waste cals on high calorie junk like that. but healthy snacks:

- baked chips, veggie chips, pop chips, damn sticky rice chips, crispy garbanzo beans
- healthy dips like yogurt sauces, guac, hummus - use the serving size which is usually 2 tbsp - 1/4c
- nuts
- use veggies for dipping - cucumber, celery, carrots, jicama
- roll up some lunch meat in lettuce with some green onion, tomato and a laughing cow wedge or some low fat string cheese
- tuna salad, egg salad
- jerky (watch the serving size/sodium)
- berries (especially paired with fat free or low fat yogurt and a high fiber cereal like all bran)

Unless he's using one of these dessert "creamers"...real cream ain't sweet and doesn't really have a taste. It just lightens up the coffee or tea so your teeth don't look like your from the UK.

No males should be putting sugars or these dessert creamers in their coffee.

That's the equivalent of drinking flavored alcohol drinks like a Mike's hard lemonade or barcardi fruit punch, or a wine cooler.

You can't go crazy with with but "heavy whipping" cream in coffee gives is totally different flavor profile.

I used to drink just milk and coffee. I'd use real cream when I went to restaurants. You're right it changes the profile but it's nothing like French Vanilla, oreo, donut shop, Cinnabon, caramel machiato and all them other candy ass flavor creamers.

True and I never got into those so I'm out of my depth but I can imagine that flavor profile is addicting.
