Is a diet comprised of only lean meats and vegetables healthy? I don’t eat any bread, starches, or sugar... lean meats, vegetables, and water...
I eat once a day around 2-4 PM and a typical meal for me might be salmon or chicken breasts and leafy vegetables.
I’m about 15-18% BF and I want to get around 9-10% before I start putting on lean mass. Is my diet the right way to go about it?
It depends. The best diet is the one you can stick too. If you like eating carbs and you feel better eating them then there's really no reason not to. Carbs are our best energy source. If you can lose weight eating carbs why wouldn't you? Like we've been telling cats in this thread, calories is really the only thing that matters. Eating lean meat and veggies is beneficial only because it's hard as fukkl to over eat with you are eating nothing but chicken breasts and brocolli.
When I stopped eating like that and switched to a flexible dieting lifestyle shyt got SO MUCH EASIER. Google The Flexible Dieting Book by Lyle McDonald. That book changed my life. It focuses on calorie counting while eating a balanced diet.
