People need to realize real strength is relative anyway. If you weigh 300 and bench 415 yeah the shyt "looks" impressive because its like 4 plates. But if you are 125 and 225 thats actually more impressive because of the relative body weight. People get so gassed over the numbers and don't look at the whole picture. Plus a lot of these people who can't do any calis look like trash. I'd rather have the physique of a soccer player/boxer than of a strongman. Besides the fact that most bytches are going to gravitate towards the svelte look the functionality is unparalled. If I'm god forbid hanging off a cliff or some shyt I'm pulling my ass up because I've done that motion thousands of times. power lifters falling to their death :pachaha: stay sleep though.

a lot of straight ducktails in here the reason why guys in jail are so strong and big is because they literally have 16 hours a day to deticate to training. There has been numerous studies about guys working out in jail it just cant be compared to the normal guy in gym. First of all when you are in jail you basically have access to perfect rest and training something the average person cannot because of time. also if I remember correctly someone who is in test filled environment their test levels will rise too

To be honest you gained weight because you we fed jail food. You had the time and energy to build muscle. It's impossible to build muscle by just working out. Coming out the pen bulked up is common because of these reasons.

:mjlol: No you are terribly wrong breh, my first year I only ate 2200 calories a day, when I started lifting weights is when I really got yoked, and that is a myth that prisoners get big by eating alot, yea we do eat,but its the rep ranges and oddly other shyt we do that has us built like houses bruh.

Calisthenics crew checking in :blessed:
Haven't lifted a single weight in nearly 3 years :blessed:. Just calisthenics. People have been doing body weight exercises since time immemorial, and it gets you strong just the same.

Mike Tyson (in the prime of his career) never touched weights. Just boxing, running, and calisthenics.

Damn,I sure did forget all Mike did was calisthenics, and Herschel Walker as well.

People scared to get out they comfort zone tho

I agree it can be very effective but 99% of people aren't willing to push themselves to those rep ranges. Or they don't have the patience to follow progressions for skill movements like planche push-ups and pistol squats. I know because I'm one of those people :heh: I like to switch it up from time to time. It's important to try new things and keep it interesting so you don't burn out mentally

Thread/

That's what it comes down to.

Dudes not gonna wanna do the rep ranges nor stay dedicated to it even tho I guarantee it will give you the same results as weights but better, because it won't kill your joints.

And that why I have the time limit and tell people to add more reps,so there is always a goal during the workout and you won't burn yourself out with it.

Most single people have 2 hours a day to commit to training... .and that's just during the week... you can do more on the weekend.....the time factor is important, but you can get in enough time easily, and the rest too.....

:wow:

I used to have arguments with guys all the time about body weight compared to strength.

Just like a 5'6 guy who is 200 pounds should be stronger than a 6'1 guy who weighs 200 pounds, yes they are the same weight but if they 5'6 guy was 6'1 he'd be around 230,the playing field is not the same, its cool in boxing but not in weightlifting competitions
