You ever hear that story about Herschel Walker never using weights and just doing thousands of push-ups/sit-ups a day?
:ooh:

Then Someone challenged him and he bench pressed 500lbs :whew:

Yup,I just posted about a guy in the joint I was with was like that,he did nothing but calisthenics, somebody called him out and he benched 405 3 times, shyt is real

To be honest you gained weight because you we fed jail food. You had the time and energy to build muscle. It's impossible to build muscle by just working out. Coming out the pen bulked up is common because of these reasons.

:russ: nikka I'd have you washing my draws very humbley, I'd tear you apart.

And I know you can't outlift me nor outwork me on bodyweight(calisthenics)
action

We had a competition on here about who could do the most pullups straight and I won that it's over in the gym section with video of everyone competing, funny you didn't show up and post a video tho:stopitslime:

Keep dreaming my nikka:mjlol:

How many pullups did you do? Reason I'm asking is because I'm trying to focus a lot more on pullups than I did in the past.

Calisthenics crew checking in :blessed:
Haven't lifted a single weight in nearly 3 years :blessed:. Just calisthenics. People have been doing body weight exercises since time immemorial, and it gets you strong just the same.

Mike Tyson (in the prime of his career) never touched weights. Just boxing, running, and calisthenics.

I'm spending these few months eating and lifting heavy to bulk up, once I reach my desired weight. Calisthenics is def going to be my primary workout

I agree it can be very effective but 99% of people aren't willing to push themselves to those rep ranges. Or they don't have the patience to follow progressions for skill movements like planche push-ups and pistol squats. I know because I'm one of those people :heh: I like to switch it up from time to time. It's important to try new things and keep it interesting so you don't burn out mentally
