a lot of straight ducktails in here the reason why guys in jail are so strong and big is because they literally have 16 hours a day to deticate to training. There has been numerous studies about guys working out in jail it just cant be compared to the normal guy in gym. First of all when you are in jail you basically have access to perfect rest and training something the average person cannot because of time. also if I remember correctly someone who is in test filled environment their test levels will rise too
First things first breh, just because they have "more time" to work out, doesn't mean they are actually in the yard or in their cells hours upon hours a day doing nothing but pushups, dips, squats, etc. They work out like anyone else with workouts that vary between 30 minutes like this workout, or an hour, some more just depending on what they are doing in their workout.
Inmates are just like regular people, they work out, get tired, sleep and continue to do it again. Theres a reason there are high intensity workouts and workout programs that last 20-30 minutes, because for some odd reason between sleeping, working and kids nobody in modern day society seems to have 'time'.
As far as 'resting' the body isn't 'resting' when it is sedentary, so you thinking that someone just needs to be sitting down or laying down or sleeping to be recovering, you've got to move and remain active to repair efficiently.
Stupid fukking thread
There's needs to be both
On the contrary, one can be perfectly fit and healthy utilizing just bodyweight alone and not having to invest in weights, or gym memberships.
People will always have excuses as to why they are sedentary when in reality the body doesn't require much to maintain, i.e not be flabby and sick, obese, etc. Everyday you see people struggling to get out of their chairs, when if they simply repeated that getting up out of a chair motion 50-100 intentional times per day well it might be a little easier.
At the end of the day its a sacrifice, people will watch 30 mins of tv but can't find the time to workout. It doesn't matter if you have weights and don't use them or simply refuse to get on the floor and do pushup. If you aren't willing to sacrifice or just do it then there just wont be any results.
