If I’m Ben Johnson I’m asking myself, is it easier to go to the raiders and find a passable QB or is it easier to go to the Bears and constantly fight against a completely dysfunctional organization led by the dumbest people in football.

No chance he comes here.

The raiders are just as dysfunctional as the bears I think Ben picks the raiders because he can pick his own GM and more $$$$$ i'm done guessing who will be the Bears next coach it is what it is I personally believe they want freeman but freeman will stay at ND after that I honestly don't know what direction the bears will go

yeah I dont get the strong negative reaction there -- maybe a former Packers thing? Im not saying hes my favorite, but he has a big time track record, and has led top offenses for two different franchises

Yeah I was looking for the negative post on here and I didn't see none MM would be a safe hire I think most fans just want Ben Johnson but I don't believe we will get Ben and I don't think Ben is the number one option for the bears I think they want freeman

judging by social media, I think the majority of people will be cool with MM as head coach it's a safe boring hire, but honestly, it might be the right hire This organization is so dysfunctional I think we need a head coach like MM to a certain culture

Plus it's warmer and they play in a dome.

Torn on them getting Freeman because it'd be a good hire, but it would hurt Notre Dame long-term.

I havent seen it so much here but elsewhere. reddit, other Bears forums, sports radio, friends -- a lot of people have a strong negative thing with him

I think part of it, being associated with the Cowboys amplifies everything --- I think Mike is a decent option tbh, maybe not super flashy, but he clearly brings competency in running a locker room and has a track record with QBs
