Duren/Wiseman/Stew/Livers/Kill/Bag, and 4 vets Monte/Bog/Burks/Harris

Don’t tell me there’s not 1 team that wouldn’t take a flier on one of those guys.
Some of those young dudes you mentioned are straight ass cheeks and the Piston’s aren’t giving up Duren.

Monte/Burks/Harris are expirings and buyout candidates.

Would they have a 1st place in G league? Would be hilarious scenario if they get demoted to the lower tier league.
I was just thinking this. Would these dudes even be the best G league team? :patrice:I'm thinking first place g league would have more than two wins by now.

shyt they'd have a challenge in Euroleague. Real Madrid is almost flawless, I'd say those guys probably beating Detroit.

While the Pistons are having a difficult season, I am beginning to suspect that the coaching staff may have received permission from management to secretly tank.

I can't believe the team hasn't won a single game during this losing streak. It seems like the franchise is intentionally losing to improve their draft pick. Spurs, Wizards, and other struggling teams won a game or two before returning to their losing ways.

The two teams that lost as many games in a row as the current team are the 2010-11 Cavaliers and the 2013-14 76ers. These teams intentionally lost games to secure the number one or within the top five picks in those draft classes. However, the process is different now, and no team is guaranteed the number one pick just by being the worst team. But there is still a good chance of landing in the top five.

As @DoubleJ13 mentioned above you, this ain’t the draft to tank for.

honestly.... depends how you frame it.

detroit didn't come into this season tanking despite what the story is now. that bobcats team's best player was corey magette - and as tank commander, he flung himself into the stands to get injured making sure he was never around long. then we had certified avengers level threat bums like eduardo najera, matt carroll, boris "xxxl" diaw, dj white, cory higgins - literally a favor for the FO's son, derrick brown, desagna diop and so on... highlight of the season was kemba looking halfway decent some of the time and paul silas choking out tyrus thomas in the locker room.

that team was ASS. but it also wasn't a full season. and you could argue they overachieved tbh

this pistons squad got lottery talent at literally every position - they just got smacked, convincingly, by utah's g-leaguers on a B2B. if you watch a few of their games during this streak, its clear they don't even understand how bad they are or why.
That’s right. Take pride and defend your squad nigguh :mjlol:

Politics as Usual
Monty is the one who have to take the blame

But its Tom Gores, Ed Stefanski, and troy weaver fault up in ownership and general manager positions..

These guys have no sense in building a franchise with the right pieces
