After all the racial tension from the past year, I'm sensing a consciousness shift among a lot of young Blacks but in my experiences, many are pro-Racial mixing, pro-being cool with Hispanics (LMAO!), pro mingling with other groups, pro-putting white/Hispanic women on a pedestal etc

I was actually treated better in Argentina than I was Brazil. And anyone with money is treated better period, its why white folks get treated good at all...the preconceived notion they have $ to bring...even when they don't. what if I told you a black man can walk this globe more comfortably than a white man? I can walk in most brown countries and blend in, most white folks better stay in their resorts or risk being robbed or kidnapped. I'm not getting robbed in Kenya, Venezuela, Indonesia, Lebanon. I put on the same clothes as the locals and blend right in. This is why when I go to Mexico, I'm fine, but my cac friends are either hassled by street kids or stripped down by the feds.

A black man can walk the globe more comfortably than a White man when the country, particularly the region, that he lives in is governed by non-Whites and is poor, or if he assimilates into the dominate culture at the detriment of his own (i.e. swirling, military service, worship, c00ning etc). Vacationing and visiting somewhere vs. trying to setup shop and ownership/control is entirely different, unless its on some music and drug trading. That is why a White person can dominate economically and politically in a non-white nation, not the opposite. Even Arabs flex harder in Metro Detroit while the black people from there stay poor or flee.

Russians do go through the money envy depending on where you are at people just despise them because they are generally dikks. Was in Cote de Azur for Nice Carnival and like a went to Monte Carlo Casino noticed that many dropping thousands of Euro at the Roulette table were Russian(and very young). The same in the Baden area of Germany at the spas I see nothing but Russians (middle age). Like Arabs, Russians have extreme personalities an its hard not to loathe them even if they support you economically. They are generally a$$holes and dont waver, which to me is a good trait.

That Mexico comment depends...maybe in the late 90s early 00s when the cartels were at their peak. Older White people do gasp at my White homies about our border adventures due to times of yore. I journeyed to Baja through the Otay or San Yisidro borders and my caucasian friends have no issues, neither do the San Diego State students who cross every weekend for the legal 18 year old drinking. White homies get harrassed by peasants at the border selling trinkets or begging more than I do. The Federales, from my experience, fukk with anyone who isn't Mexican(as they should) which is why I also take one of my Chicano homies with me but I never been harrassed personally. On the flip side I have seen homeless "latino looking" men shook down, harrassed and asked for documentation(assuming they were illegal). But the White homeless dude who literally just smoked crack outside of 12th and Imperial Station or takes a shyt in front of Petco park goes unbothered.

Dont know where you were in brazil, that is why I said Bahia Salvador, has one of the largest demographic of blacks outside if the continent and they retained their culture. My experience in Argentina was left to be desired.

When it comes to setting up shop or control, it matters who and what, money has no color. If some oil tyc00n from Nigeria wanted to open up a business in Brazil....I don't think he'd have a problem. If you're talking small time business...again...nigerians, ethiopians have set up shop, I bet I could even find a nigerian restaurant in Argentina.

Its the caliber of people opening up shop. The arabs or chinese or chileans that go abroad are typically educated or have a skill, bringing in money and worth. I went to Rio, SP and Santos. I only had an incident in Rio, basically a cop stopped me before I went to the bank (I was bumming it)....once I spoke english, he quickly let me in. Tho I can't help but wonder if I brought in a cac looking kid like Lil Ze's rival in city of god if they'd have stopped him too....probably, I don't know.

Argentina was great, I had a warm welcoming folks hadn't seen very many black americans so at parties I was bought drinks, given coke, caught cabs before folks, generally warm reception, even invited to a couple of dinners. I was far from treated like a scoundrel.
