Nah. Reasons the Dems lost that election.

2. Black people pushing for the inferior candidate in Hillary (a corporatist that represents everything people do not like about Washington).
This happened in the last two election cycles and people gloss over it. (If covid didn't happen, I do wonder if Trump would've edged out a victory over Biden.)
It was sad to see older black folks fall for the okey doke in the 2016 primaries with Hillary and the centrist in the Dems when everything was clearly laid out in front of them with Sanders pointing out the differences between what he was proposing and what the Dems are doing.

But besides them, it was wild to see so much discourse to Bernie's policies in black media when his shyt would've directly benefitted us way more than what Hillary was talking about by a very wide margin

Nah. Reasons the Dems lost that election.

1. White women voting against their own interests.

2. Black people pushing for the inferior candidate in Hillary (a corporatist that represents everything people do not like about Washington).

3. Obama rustbelt voters flipping to Trump for the reasons mentioned above.

For everybody who agree with the decision y’all not seeing the bigger picture, you think forgiving loans will give other people a leg up on you especially for y’all who didn’t go to school

We all benefit, it’s not a competition between the poor and the less poor, the competition is the “people” swinging the pendulum back from the corporations so we can have a bigger share of the money pie

Remember that when y’all complain about wages, housing, and goods being expensive cause some of y’all showing y’all asses celebrating this court decision

facts. folks trying to take the speaking points of Republicans. "You borrowed it, you pay!!.. bootstrap babble"

another solution, which I think is better than a one time forgiveness of 10-20k forgiveness would be repay loans within a certain time and pay 0% interest, then 2%, then cap at 4%..

if you don't repay, then you get hit with defaults, credit report, wage garnishments, etc.

The burden will fall on the students. Do you know what garnishing wages means?:mjlol: Do you know what not paying does to your credit score?

Muthafukkas had 3 years with zero interest to pay them loans. Coming up with Every gawt excuse in the book to not pay $300/month for your sorry ass degrees.
If you work under the table or for tips your wages can’t be garnished. Never mind those that declare bankruptcy or choose to not participate in the economy at all which very bad and the worst thing that could happen. And again as I demonstrated student loans aren’t just a problem for those with degrees you don’t like. Those with advanced degree are suffering as well.

Imagine claiming to be Black and being against something that is an unmitigated good for the Black community.

“Gawtdamn, hehe should’ve paid dem loans, gawtdamn, mufawka, heyuck, gawtdamn, liberals, mufawka”:heh:

Seen a couple of nikkas saying "you should have went to trade school or community college".

We as a society would not have any good doctors, lawyers, engineers, scientist, etc, if everyone went that route. We need people in those professions, and unfortuantely you have to take out a loan most of the time to have access to the best education and network opportunities for that profession.

The salary does not always offset the loan amount and then you factor in other costs of your life. People just want to see you struggle

Basically! They're mad that they didn't go or have the aspiration or drive to go. But that's the gist people are fine with the status quo as long as it appears that no one is getting more than them or what they think they deserve. Meanwhile corporations, politicians, billionaires, and the MIC have been getting trillions in handouts but it's okay for them since this capitalistic way of thinking has seeped so deeply into people's minds they've fooled themselves into believing if they keep their heads down they too will eventually become one of those billionaires too...that's not how the system is built and they're slowly eroding the guard rails that are in place now to have a 2-tiered system like most third world countries. The haves and the have nots...

@Ezekiel 25:17 said he wanted to go to college to get a engineering degree but he in this thread saying people shouldn’t go to college

How’s that going and are you going to take loans out to go to school or you got a scholarship?

Not surprised one bit

And nikkas who didn’t vote for Hillary better not start talking shyt… because if she was voted in then democrats would have had the Supreme Court and not Trump who put 3 in

I'm actually curious on how many people didn't. Folks didn't take Trump seriously and I was surprised that people were surprised that he won.

I have a degree that I paid for out of pocket, just like the millions of other people who paid for their degrees.:ohhh:

If I go back to school, I'll pay for it + apply for scholarships.

-Community College
-Save up for a year
-Join the military
-Tradeschool
-Hope you parents can pay
