I've seen some conservative posters on reddit who think all these buyouts/federal downsizing, and the elimination of "frivolous spending" that's being handled by DOGE is going to trickle back down to them.

Like.....they really think that their $1500 check every two weeks will increase to $1800 because DOGE has eliminated "unnecessary govt. spending" and their tax dollars are going back to them.

They've all been cheer leading this stuff over the last two weeks.

Wild stuff.

Right it goes back to my post in here so long as they think he hurting the right kind of people they will keep supporting him and the Republicans backing him.

I think another one of the biggest changes to federal work this Administration is the work culture.

Many people say government jobs are the most chill around (depending on field). That was before many even went remote. Doesn’t look like the case anymore.

Do this bullshyt and then keep an eye on who ends up talking, then paint them as a leak and a bad operative and effectively burn their whole careers by coming out and saying something.

FBI got their own issues. Half the division can't trust the other half after the conflicting appointments across administrations.
Trump also just aired 60 year old dirty laundry specifically about their agency. So the ones who would be vocal are shook and triple-checking all their past case work like they bout to get called in front of the class to present.

Some in the Fed believe in the 2025 concept. It took intelligence operative input to even get to the state it's currently in. So some of them are fine with it.

Other thing to remember is... these people have literally been trained their whole careers on how to operate best in places where the government is unstable, the people are terrified and the leader is a dictator.
