Of course not. Are you suppose to rally behind everyone simply because they are Black?

Not the one who made the insane leap of a person not being clean...and to your second part? The police have shown an inclination of putting out shaky statements time and again... why should they get the benefit of the doubt?

The only thing that matters at this point is the name of the cop who shot him. From there., everything else will fall into place.

Everywhere...You never there.
LAW ENFORCEMENT DOES NOT HAVE TO EXIST THERE ARE OTHER WAYS http://www.thecoli.com/threads/poli...ta-do-it-6-ideas-for-a-cop-free-world.277772/

AT THE VERY LEAST, GIVE THEM POWERFUL BUT NOT LETHAL WEAPONS INSTEAD OF LIVE AMMUNITION

Ok... that's a radical undertaking that's gonna take a while ... a loooooooooong while...and maybe this is the beginning of a Zeitgeist of sorts...where the shift is triggered... but I doubt it'll happen in our lifetimes.

Continue to spread that awareness, tho... get plugged in from grassroots to statehouses and lobby your local representatives to lobby other higher up representatives all the way up until it gets in the US AG's ear.

You gotta hit it from all angles.

In the meantime, you just keep your hands where their eyes can see 'em... don't need you dead outchea, youngin. Your awareness is too keen to get bodied over a wave brush.

Devils Advocate: Is there ever a situation in which pulling a gun out (not saying Martin did) that would justify the cop shooting the suspect?

.

you know it wouldn't matter had he pulled a gun or not because the majority of these deaths are UNARMED anyway.

but to answer your retarded question................ There is police procedure and threat perception. Application of force must be consistent with existing state law and with STL, or NYD or Detroit , etc police department rules.

100% of police department in the nation have 1 FIRST DUTY- that is to preserve life. That is the preserve life . That is to preserve life and to not take life unless it is ABSOLUTELY THE LAST OPTION.

1) you must CONFIRM THAT A FIREARM IS PRESENT (you can not simply ASSUME AND GUESS THAT IT SEEMS LIKE ONE IS THERE)
2) use tactics to control the situation
3) use the least amount and the most non lethal force that you can initially.
4) only kill if you think a person is killing another person (At that time) or if they are aiming at you with a visible weapon and you can't get out the way.

this is why if a white guy shoots up a room filled with people . Police still say. put the weapon on the ground and they still usually apprehend the suspect. (if the cac doesn't kill himself)

Violation of these rules is why these things have been happening lately ........ and WHY THEY HAPPENED EVEN MORE FREQUENTLY IN THE 80'S AND 90'S.

peace.

I'm stepping back from this one.

You can't point a gun at a cop...you'll never win.
really...

lie

cops lie...

they cant be all trusted...

cops make up facts or their mind tricks them...

the heavy hand at them should not a weapon, but making sure they dont point a weapon at you because they live in fear.

Even if it was just a "phone." What is a cop supposed to do at that point in a split second?? Hmm, maybe this guy is just trying to make his Digimon digivolve or morph into a Power Ranger instead of brandishing a gun????

Sure...it's always ok for a cop to shoot a suspect...there is always a way to justify it...

But ask yourself this if you have the freedom to protect yourself do you have that freedom to do so if the person is a cop?
