The bible is against all kinds of sin. Sin im sure these people commit. But they draw the line at homosexuality?? Its no lake of fire for gays, and a lake of fire for adultery, and a special lake for liars. Its all one big lake that everyone who's naughty supposedly is going into.
i think that christians are fulla shyt :yeshrug: i dont believe a word of anything they say, i have zero respect for the bible

but the question is, should a christian business owner be forced to work a gay wedding. you say yes?

Nope. I would expect the law of the land to not allow discrimination of ANY kind, regardless of religious beliefs.
so you think that christians should be forced to work gay weddings. make up your mind :yeshrug:you're all over the place

Previously they could decline it for other reasons. They didn’t have to explicitly come out and say “we are declining because you all are gay”. With this new ruling, they can now explicitly say “nah, it’s against our religion”. I know that it results in that same thing. But to be able to openly and outwardly discriminate against a protected class is an incredibly dangerous precedent.

If I am dying and I need the fukker to keep me alive yes. Do your fukking job.

You have no choice in extreme conditions.. Black men and women getting shot every f*cking day were I live, and in sure these racist Irish EMT workers letting some of them die. And its no way to prove one way or the other.

So with that aside.. Would you mind your primary care doctor to one day not want to see you, then be forced to see you after a law was passed?

I read deeper into this case and apparently it was all a lie just to get the supreme court to make this decision. There was no gay couple that even asked for her services, and the owner of the website is the one who bought it up to the courts herself. :francis:

Even if it is all was true, I'm still trying to understand this. The line is very thin when it comes to refusing service for someone based on your "values", so when does it become discrimination?

"I don't want to create a website featuring gay people because I am Christian and it goes against my religon.". Now that I look at that, I don't see anything wrong with it.

Now if it was in any other conditions, I would see discriminiation. " I don't want gay people in my restaraunt eating because I am Christian and it goes against my religon" - or a straight-only gym because the owner is a Christian would be crazy. Idk this shyt look messy.
This is the most :mindblown: thing about this b/c during confirmation hearings, potential justices hate talking about hypothetical cases and making judgements about them :heh: But here we are :francis:

I say no. But..... I believe there should be alternatives for the christian business owners who want to step in.. And the government should work towards making that a reality.

a religious based business should not have to do things that go against its faith. It’s a difference between not serving a gay couple food and hosting a gay event.
So any religion can refuse to serve "infidels"?
