Breaking Bad doesn't deserve to sit at the table with The Sopranos and The Wire

Forgive them for season 3 and the last season.

The corner is 6 episodes an its shytting on most full series in any genre. classic the wire if they focused only the streets.

And sopranos got trash in the middle seasons. Then picked up the final season wit a trash ending. Series had mad boring episodes too. for nikkas talmbout the wire season 2/5 missed the point of the show. It wont jus about the streets. We had to see who the plug was and season 5 was only trash cause hbo gave them a short final season unlike a part 1 &2 like they gave sopranos. The shield got better and better Each year second goat only to the wire imo. Only wish it was on premium cable but fx still let them get away with mad shyt.

Boardwalk and BB can switch places they both dope af. I feel boardwalk should still be on tv so many places it couldve went. Thats the only reason it gets hate cause they rushed the ending . Boardwalk like the godfather if it was a tv show.

after watchin the Wire this fall, from start to finish....

I put it below Breaking bad...one of the main reasons why, is because to me, Breaking Bad never had a down season, where 2 out of 5 seasons of the Wire were below average IMO.(2 and 5 were borderline unwatchable at points) If it wasnt for Omar carrying the Wire in season 5,(as he did as Chaulky White in BE) I may not have finished it, other than to see how they actually ended it. I never finished the Sopranos either.

I'm one of the few people that never watched the Wire while it was on and only caught BB weekly starting with season 5a. I'm convinced that the Wire definitely benefited from the traditional weekly episodic format. I found it hard to get into when binging through the series in a marathon. I'm in the middle of season 4 and have placed about 10 other series ahead of it in my queue.

Seasons 1 and 3 were great, but I was ready to stop watching early in Season 2. For that reason alone, I can't ever place it above BB. I lost sleep watching BB cause it just kept building and getting better as I marathoned through the series. There isn't a bad season of BB. Hell I can't think of a seasons worth of weak episodes of BB.

I copped the first 3 seasons of the wire when the dvds were $100 a piece deadass and i binge watched em all lol. The wire is a show it gets better and better on rewatches due to subtle details.


The best binge show is oz and the shied imo it'll have u like

I haven't watched breaking bad but because its so hyped i'm inclined to believe its over rated I saw the first episode on blu ray and haven't had a chance to continue watching it but I was kind of bored

I actually agree wholeheartedly and I loved BB as much as the next person. I do plan on running it back one more time eventually but it is no sopranos/wire.

I just couldn't get into breaking bad and I'm annoyed by that. No way in fukk is that in the same stratosphere as the wire tho. Sidenote: Boardwalk empire is absolute boring trash. After they killed Jimmy that show turned to absolute shyt
