I'm more red than lightskinned so I guess I'm fine despite being a fairer complexion than most brothers. Never had no skin peel or redness when out in that Caribbean sun doing whatever's required.

Never been afraid of the sun. Actually we're pretty close friends. You think jet black brothers in the islands need sunscreen . The only dark brehs I know who can't tolerate the sun as much as they should are the ones who don't get the sun exposure they need. I never wore sunscreen in my life. People who are lightskin or high yellow are the ones who really need to watch sun exposure because they usually can't tan as dark as somebody milk chocolate or even a dark shade of caramel.

My whole family from Jamaica and I've never seen anyone use sunscreen ever. No skin cancer and no wrinkles

However black people can get sunburn still however, I think it just takes longer. I was at a water park a few years ago ALL day and it was like 101 outside. The next day my shoulders were on fire and peeling.

Though..I admit I'm a bit on the lighter side.
