I never roll my window down all the way, and I drive a F-150, and the cop just sticks the clip board through the window. Sometimes I want to grab the clip board and bring it inside, and he tells me he has to hold on to it. He's hands are always outside. That cop had nothing to worry about.

The cop was wrong. Every lawyer will tell you when you flex your rights, it won't make the cop like you. But it is still your God given right.

You are acting like that girl wasn't wrong too. When an officer tells you that you are "being detained" and to "step out the vehicle", you don't lock your doors and roll up your window completely and refuse to step out of the car. That is no difference from running from the police on foot.

She already failed to provide all the documents that the officer requested at the beginning of the stop before the camera starting recording. Yeah, you say you won't roll down your window but I bet you WILL be handing them your license, registration, and proof of insurance out of habit.

Where were all of you with this vitriol when the video of the white guy being asked to roll his window down and basically telling the cop to go fukk himself was making the rounds on here? Nothing is different in these incidents besides the complexion of the individuals involved, but often times that's all it takes to get some of you to lose your minds. This girl was too dark to pull it off, but legally, you don't have to roll your window all the way down. Could she have done so and avoided damaging this guys ego therefore saving herself the headache? Probably so, but she did nothing against the law before she refused to exit the vehicle after being informed she was being detained.
