Cop:
The reason why I stopped you is because you have only one working brake light.
Girl: Awww, yeah. It's not my car. (Hands license to officer through
FULLY OPENED WINDOW)
Cop: Umm, unfortunately, you're operating it, so....you know what I mean?
Girl: Yeah, yeah, I understand.
Cop:
You have the registration?
Girl:
No.
Cop: You don't have the registration?
Girl: No, it's my mother's car. I just dropped her off at work and I have an appointment....
Cop: Okay. So...
Girl:
I don't have her registration
Cop: 'Kay, you don't know if it's in the glove-box where people keep it?
Girl: No
Cop: You wanna look? That's a $114 dollars right there for not having it.
Girl: (Says something unintelligible)
Cop: You're not the registered owner of the vehicle?
Girl: No, this is my mother's car so, I just dropped her off to get to my appointment...
Cop:
Okay, so you don't wanna look for the registration?
Girl: There's no way I can get in-touch with her, she's at work. She works at a call-center....
Cop: I know, but most people keep it in the glove box. That's why I'm asking...
Girl: (Reaches to glove box, but doesn't open it)
Girl:
So that's why you pulled me over, because of a light?
Cop:
You only have one brake light, yeah.
Girl: Can I go get that fixed?
Cop:
And when you changed lanes coming up to the light, you didn't signal, but that's probably a result of you not having your light working back there. 'Kay?
Girl: I can tell her about it. It's not my car.
Cop:
Well, I mean, you are operating it so it's your responsibility right now.
Girl: (Looks stupefied through
FULLY OPENED WINDOW)
So, basically, she had an inoperative brake/signal, did not properly signal to change lanes, did not produce registration on vehicle BEFORE he wrote her a ticket ONLY for the brake light.
He was trying to give her a break and she FUKKED UP by acting like a total @sshole when she was in the wrong from jump.
I'm done with this fukking thread. Y'all keep trying to
for this dumb-ass broad.
