Geoff Johns was the same dude who was a co-producer as well as creative consultant on the Green Lantern film. Even defended it after the bad reception. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence.WB's problem is that they are too reactionary.

WB's problem is that they are too reactionary.
So was Berlanti who was fired from the project and his script wasn't used. He said himself that he doesn't know why he was credited as a producer when he had nothing to do with the film. The film's faults were Campbell rewriting the whole movie, the OG script was way better
A full film of him as the flash
gonna need some Heath ledger type of performance to save that one.

Johns was part of Green lantern, i believe he was the writer, i'm not sure he's the best for translating comics to film. He's ok for comics though. Bruce Timm please

snyder's done being anything besides a director for DC. shyt, his days as a director might be numbered.
No problem with this as long as they don't go complete reactionary and turn these movies into semi-comedies. I love the tone of the two movies they've done. If lightness and humor is genuinely the writer/director's vision then cool, but don't make it a mandate.
