Anyone saying Christian Bale was a better Batman than Michael Keaton is smoking crack...and Batman '89 is undeniably the more landmark and iconic film...no question about it...which one u like more is all opinion tho...

And I agree on that point. To me, it is the more landmark film but I don't think it's the better film at all. Although I do like Keaton more than Bale

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Batman 89 has aged horrendously. The movie is EXTREMELY dated.

New generations will watch the nolan films and burtons will be laughed at for all the corny 80s period music and style.

Nostalgia is clouding your judgement heavily.
:what: Make fun of the 80s period music?..nigg a that was PRINCE...u can't be serious...

Yea but breh, no one ever really cared who played Batman. We just cared about the Batmobile and his gadgets. Batman fans are more concerned with who gets cast as the iconic villans and Alfred. Bruce Wayne is the easiest role to play. Ask Ben Affleck. Just look like a rich billionaire and not look awkward with the Bat suit and mask on and you're good. And Bale played it perfect too imo. The voice was obviously to mask his voice and make him seem darker which he did.

The entire movie is still about organized crime breh. Clean up the city, same as any batman story is.

Harvey's 180 made sense too

yet you couldn't even answer the question

The movie doesn't even tell you what batman is trying to catch the mafia doing or what criminal enterprise he's trying to bring down

its oh them mob, we have to arrest him, nevermind for what, because we never see the mob do anything other than talk about batman being a thorn in their side, but we are never shown what exactly it is batman is doing to cause them problems lol

The beginning of the movie, begins with some kinda of deal, we don't even know and it's never explained why crane is meeting these people, and for what
or why the mob would be hurt by batman stopping this deal

it's just another random event in this completely random movie

The Batman 89 introduces batman in the first scene in his normal routine, which in fact see a crime and understand why batman would take action.
then quickly begins into the plot of the movie when he ease drops on the commission at the party at wayne manor, and learns about the jack napiers plan to dispose of the evidence at Axis Chemicals after unwittingly being setup by his boss, which begins his conflict with the joker which the movie centers around the very same chemicals that created the joker he uses to poison the population

How is 89 a more landmark film? Nobody talk about that shyt no more. Wasn't dark knight the highest grossing film ever at one point? Yaw tripping.

Batman isn't a cop. That's the police departments job to build the case against the mob and what not. Why do you think the cops built that iconic bat signal. So Batman could "HELP" with what the police weren't able to do (Track down the chinese accountant/catch The Joker). He works with the police not for them. What does he care about building a case against the mob? His job is to catch the bad guy thats it. Harvey Dent was handling the criminal case against the mob with the police. It's The Dark Knight, not Gotham your watching.

Build a case against them for what?

They never once explained what the mob was doing

Have you been living under a rock or something? What was the mob doing? What weren't they doing! It's Gotham. They controlled the criminal underworld and laundered millions of dollars. I think your just trolling at this point. Who doesn't know what the mob does. Go watch The Sopranos and GTFOH.

This. Bruce Wayne outside of the mask is not a very hard role to play. Frown, look emo, get mad, go put on your mask. A superhero film, especially Batman, is only as good as its villain.
