Barkley has a point. the price gouging by the NBA and NFL should be called out because it's starting to get ridiculous. the 9ers raised the price to attend their training camp by 100%! and don't forget the fees and taxes.

the unfortunate part is there's no reason for teams to stop the price hikes since they typically sell out. same goes for streaming services and entertainment companies like live nation. they're making record profits and breaking viewership and attendance records.

It's bad for both. It's bad overall. I was in a thread a few weeks ago talking about the Chris Brown show. shyt is like $400 and $500 for some regular ass seats. Not even the premium shyts that's on in close to the floor.

Remember we were having a discussion about the prices of some of these PPV fights. I paid $97 for the Davis/Martin card and about to pay about $85 for the Crawford/Madrimov card.

All of these stadium/arena events are getting outta hand with the pricing. shyt doesn't make any sense.

This is what fukked me up:

I was gonna go to the National Championship game this past season if UT made it. Find a ticket in the lower bowl of NRG for about $2k. Not really trippin'. Kinda knew that would be the price if not more.

But what fukked me up is when I went to checkout, the shyt came out to nearly $3k

It was all these stupid ass fees added on to it.

If the people cared that much they would stop going to the games lowering the demand and thus the prices …since people seem unwilling to do that they get what they get my bulls have been terribly run for years and prices to attended games have stayed high because attendance stays high …it’s not rocket science

That said,Barkley is a Hall of Fame Broadcaster,and his opinions are the reason he makes as much money as he does and is the main draw on the highest rated basketball show EVER.

The average fan won't have cable and Peacock and Amazon all at once...
