chuck ultimately is like that OG at the barbershop that loves to argue and hear himself talk, has a vociferous opinion about everything….but sometimes (oftentimes?), doesnt actually know what the fukk he’s talking about…..to the extent NBA games were ever on “regular TV”, I’m not even sure much has actually changed if not gotten better …I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m way way wrong, but the amount of games broadcast on free network tv increased or is close to as much as it’s ever been with the new deal….definitely more when you consider they have NBC and ABC as broadcast partners now…the bulk of games were behind a cable paywall during the TNT/ESPN/ABC era…the streaming era has just increasingly replaced the cable model…this is like muhfukkas stuck in the CD era when music had transitioned to streaming…in all reality there are 82 games and more games are accessible now outside of league pass than probably ever

The ticket prices to the arena are expensive though, With that you kind of avoid some of the bad clientele, but loud mouth idiots these days have a lot of money also. Expensive tickets = quiet arena during games.

If players get paid what they are paid it’s because the owners have it to pay them. Someone mentioned a 51:49 split between players and owners. You have one side splitting it between 380 players and the other between 30 owners and he’s bytching.
