This. If you're charging me over 50 for a cut outside of New York, you're not getting a tip.

Kats cut 8 heads a day at $50 a pop for 5 days a week, that's $104,000 a year. These níggas can go fúck themselves.

the thing is, I saw a video of a guy on youtube who went into the dominican barbershop in NYC, and they was still charging like $15-$20.

it's the black barbershops that be gouging.

All you have to is check the inflation calculator online. From 2015 to 2024 is a 32% bump. Meaning if you paid 15 then, you should pay $19.50 now. With tip that cut should be $25. $30 at the most.

It should never have been 15 to begin with tho. After cut and cleanup dude spent almost an hour. Minus out rent products etc...

Barbers shouldn't be making $12 an hr lol

I usually do it myself since my cut is simple, but every now and then I like to go in for a lineup of my beard.

Last time I went in I already buzzed off my hair with a 0 blade, I just went in for the beard lineup and gave my guy a $20 which was more than generous, I do this like once a month now just to maintain.

I cant afford spending that ridiculous amount of money on a haircut so i simply wont patronize the business , i dont get the controversy there are tons of other barbers that will give you a good haircut for half that price

I go to Latino barbers now that I’m bald. They know how to cut black hair and they still charge 15-20. If you’re black and want cheap cuts look into Latino barbers
