The "legal" transatlantic slave trade to the US ended in 1807. Enslaved Africans were still brought in but technically it was illegal. During the time when America was participating..legally, it was part of the triangular trade,

so the ships were not just "slave ships" transporting enslaved human beings..they were designed to also hold cargo for two legs of the trip. When the legal trade ended, these ships continued to be used transporting goods...maybe modified the parts below deck.
As commercial ships, I'm assuming that as technology improved that the older ships were destroyed.
Whites preserve that which they are proud of and destroy what shames them....also...so there was no incentive to preserve that part of history.

I think if all people taught their children their cultural history (the good & the bad)...there would less confusion among younger people. They would be able to put things in context and not latch on to foolish notions.

I think a person with a good sense of SELF is less likely to fall into these traps.

You have a foundation. You understand that you are not perfect, that you need to develop and work on things but you have some understanding of who you are already. It's almost like in sports.....if you were taught the fundamentals, you can learn and adapt to different playing styles..because you have an understanding of the concepts of that system.

Pimps target damaged women with low self esteem/self worth..and pimps of other sorts target low self esteem individuals. Push the right buttons and they'll buy what you're selling them.
