Im not making excuses but your complaint isn't something unique to HipHop. You can make this claim about anything from books to video games to music to movies
Hiphop culture is ONLY the most powerful and influential force in the black community. Why do u think "others" are so invested in it. Ask yourself: who REALLY controls it?
Im well aware that other influences exist, but im also aware that hiphop culture casts the biggest shadow. This isn't "music" we're talking bout. We're talking bout an entire destructive lifestyle and culture aimed directly at the youth. Movies and games are MARKETED AS FANTASY. Rap is MARKETED AS REAL. Major difference. When Denzel kills somebody in a film we know its not real. When these rappers rap about things they've done its taken as true to life commentary. Its all about "keeping it real/authentic" in hiphop
It is?

Yall see ths????? This is exactly why i assume that posters that for black genocide music is white. If you are a conscious black man there's NO WAY you should want to. This is exactly why i believe posters like @HankHill @Kitsch @mrken12 @DarkSkinSamurai @BlackManLiveFromLondon are white
Metal and hard rock have some of theWhat other cultures have music as negative as mainstream rap?
So they're white for defending the genre that black people listen to the most
