I think it's just if one of the parents do not live in a stable environment or cannot provide all the needs for the child
Sole custody isn't rewarded to either person, unless one has a demonstrable issue that would hamper their ability to care for the child.

To my knowledge that doesn't matter that's where child support kicks in..I know personally of incidents where a dude makes more money but courts still placed the child with the mother.

Men create their own problems. They established this patriarchal society in which they decided women were the best caregivers to children. Now it's coming to bite them in the ass and they wanna bytch and complain. Up until the past 50 years, it was damn near mandated by law for women to be stay at home mothers. Of course our laws will reflect the moral beliefs of the society.
I also love the argument that women initiate most divorces. Log in on any given day on this ass backwards forum, and you'll find men bragging about having unprotected sex and cheating on their girlfriends/wives. Of course your wife is going to leave you! It as if you scum bags think women should settle for being cheated on.
My third point is that men on this website love to pretend as if they're making 6 figures. Please, we all know the statistics on black men and yall are barely making it out of high school alive--nevermind with a diploma
.And for the record I think that the laws are sometimes unfair to men, mostly surrounding child custody though. I have no sympathy for women who use their children as pawns and keep them from their father. Thats unforgivable.
