As far as the whole stay-at-home mom problem...........yea, if you stay out of the workforce for 10 odd years being a homemaker, then divorce your husband, I get it. It would be pretty difficult to get back into the swing of things. But lifetime alimony?

That might sound rough but, its the point. You'd incentivize alot of these women to stop getting divorced over dumb ass reasons and working out their problems if they knew it wasn't a pot of transfer payments waiting for them or light a fire under their lazy ass to get back into the work force if the marriage was just that unbearable.
