IIRC Lexi agreed that the league caters too much to the older women. Gil said the foreign players can come into the WNBA at 17-19 with no following, while the US born girls have to waih 2-3 years to get in the league, when they have the following. This is also the convo I think Lexi made the comment that said the coaches are too old school as well.

Seriously, she can get way better at her sport because of her athleticism/build. Plenty peopple aren't done growing as a professional at 20.

Problem is she goes from LSU's branding to whatever team's branding she's going to in the WNBA. That's basically the biggest problem most of these women college players will run into as well.

This right here is key, they've got some big names coming up who could make the league more money. Caitlin Clark coming into the WNBA should get a nice welcome from every player, coach, etc. Realize what you've got on your hands that could bring the league to a new height.

They don’t develop players in the WNBA. Being a first round pick doesn’t even guarantee you will make the roster. There are so few teams and roster spots that project players are just cut loose.

Now she has some fame to her name so some team may keep her around to sell tickets but if she doesn’t produce quickly they will drop her.
