glad I aint the only one noticed these dikkridin rap nikkas putting 3K in they tope 5's all of a sudden,dont remember if it was Em,Jay or Wayne who got nikkas on that shyt,and of course media and then the fans went right along with it....But props to Andre for saying this,its been disgusting how Big Boi is treated like he was what Daz was to Kurupt with the rhymes....Big Boi was never no damn ball and chain. Folks just rewriting history,and you know this becuz I don't remember nikkas fiendin for 3K to go solo....folks loved Outkast as Outkast....if 3K stood out as much as folks like to pretend now fans would've been beggin Andre to go solo and going hard on Big Boi for holding back Dre's greatness

Exactly I honestly would rather hear a OutKast album over their solos. The Organized Noize production plus Sleepy brown features along with the whole dungeon family crew helped build that Kast sound. I hate these trends. Every time its a group with 2 rappers n1ggas always wanna side with one over the other. Instead of just appreciating the group for who they are and what they represent. Its ok to be competitive but being all groupied up for a n1gga that dont even care to put anything out is ridiculous.

I think this is more complex.
Its really difficult to be a succesfull solo artist in hiphop without going commercial.
The Outkast name went commerical eventually...
The Big Boi name never did, that in turn meant that his solos didnt sell well and his music went under the radar.
He tried though, he toured globally wih both albums. He's a genuine talent and no question could rap rings round near all southern heavyweights... better than Andre though ? Not quite.
Andre is more versatile and paints a cleaner picture. (than pretty much anybody I may add)
